Chris and Monique Strachan

Chris and Monique Strachan have been serving at ELBC since fall of 2016. Along with their 8 children, they live at the camp year round and oversee all of ELBC programs, maintain the property and facilities, and host guest groups in the off season. Chris is passionate about creating an atmosphere of peace and beauty for all who enter the gates. His vision for the camp is to continue to rebuild and improve the infrastructure, while preserving the natural beauty of the land, so that ELBC will be around to serve families for many more years. Monique lends her administrative and creative skills with planning and overseeing camp activities. She desires to see the camp grow by serving our community through programming that meets the needs of our constituents.

Abby Schulz

Hello everyone my name is Abby Schulz and I am the new Ministry Director at ELBC! A little about me is, I grew up going to ELBC and I fell in love with the atmosphere and the people and for the camp's love for Jesus. Once I got the opportunity to volunteer and work for ELBC I took it and for the past 3 years I was one of the summer students. Last summer was my first year directing and it was an absolute blast! I love working with kids and teens so when this opportunity arose I knew I needed to apply. Echo has always been a second home to me and I am so grateful to be able to work at a place I consider home with people I consider family. I am so excited about this next season and to see what the Lord has in store for ELBC!
